Sheep Pie Bird, I like Pie Birds they help Bake good Pies. Pie Birds prevent the Pie Filling from boiling up and leaking through the Crust thus keeping the Bottom of the Pie Dough from turning Soggy. I collect and got many of them and They Do Work. Every time I Bake a Pie according to the Pie Size I select a Pie Bird and put it on top of the very center of the Bottom Pie Dough making it Crisp by releasing the Steam through the opening on the very Top and working as a FunnelSheep Pie Bird is very cute with his Cotton Ball type Fur very well Made from Porcelain in England and with his Black Head nicely Painted, Measures just about 3 Inches Tall by 2.1 Inches Wide and it has big openings on the Bottom Feet/Base for the Steam to go through and up the Top. I really like how all these WADE Ceramics Pie Birds from the same Company are Made and well Designed, I've got many of them and they all look Great, also they are Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe ...Thank You D.D.
