Clout Fitness Olympic Barbell Clamps Collars Quick Release Pair of Locking Weight Clips Fit 2 Inch Barbell for Weightlifting

I bought a pair of the Heavy Duty PRO version back in April 2019 and I liked them a lot. I have since purchased another barbell so I wanted another pair. I went to my previous order to order another set of collars. Unknowing to me, instead of sending me to a page for an item is is no longer available it redirected me to this much more inferior product (at a higher price point too!). I ordered the item and did not realize the mistake until I opened the packaging. These feel like a cheap knockoff version of the ones I originally ordered but somehow cost a couple bucks more. I feel like I was tricked into buying a poor quality item but I guess that is all Clout sells now. I will not buy from this brand again.

**UPDATE**Clout reached out to ensure I did not recieve knock offs. They also discussed options as they have other collars. Appreciate the effort Clout. Adding a star for great customer relations.***They’re okay. Not great. They slip when being dropped with heavy weight. Also pretty sure I got knock offs as mine have no distinguishing branding on them and didn’t come with the carry pouch.

I dont think you can beat these for the price. They are high quality, just as good as ones I have used in big name gyms. They feel nice and durable, they are simple to lock and they give a click once they are fully locked which I like. They have thick rubber grips on the inside to help hold them in place and not move, I took the setup I have in the picture and stood it straight up and the plate didn't budge so it's a strong hold. You can lock and unlock them easily with one hand like they say, and I would also say I think they look cool. Definitely happy with these and would buy again

4/5 for 1 reason lol. I ordered RED as you can see from my package label. (Insert sarcasm here) Upon much further inspection, I vaguely noticed that these were a “whitish red” aka pink.I’m a competitive powerlifter and have my own garage gym. I lift very heavy weights (bench 450, squat 550, deadlift 620), so some strong clips are very much needed. I ordered these cause of the good reviews on them, and don’t get me wrong, these clips work amazing. Very solid clipping to the bar, and a lot of pressure needed to open the clip. Only reason why I give it a 4/5 star, is the color. Red would have been a very cool color for a clip in my gym, but as you can clearly see in the picture, these are pink.10/10 would buy again though for sure, but probably in black. Meaning I’ll get like a grayish white color lol.Overall, highly recommend.

Well. Loved these for the first couple of weeks. Held up well through many WODs, but didn’t involve much dropping of heavy weight from higher than deadlift position. Today, dropping from the top of only a 135# clean and jerk snapped a piece on one end. Totally useless after that. It’s a shame, because I really liked the look and ease of the clips. They’re just not hearty enough to take repeated dropping, unfortunately.

I got these for a friend the owns a gym as when I help set up bar, I HATE those darn grip clamps.These are super light, well made, easy to open and shut- STAY CLOSED and are the best investment a gym or home fitness person could use.My gym friend really is pleased as there is no calculation for squeeze clamp weights(didn’t even know those darn things added any weigh!). Do yourself a favor if you use an Olympic bar and get yourself a set- guaranteed won’t be disappointed.This was another great recommendation from Buzzfeed!

I used these for my first time back at Olympic lifting this past Tuesday. I opted for the bright green so I would not leave them. I wasn’t sure how to operate them at first. Do I push down on the latch or just lift, but after a few seconds figured out that I just lift and then push down until the click sound to lock.I will say that the fit the gym bar perfect and held the weight just fine. I should mention that I was not working with a lot of weight. I’ve been out of lifting for almost two years so I only worked with a 205 snatch and a 285 lbs clean and jerk. Also, my gym won’t allow dropping weights so I can’t tell you how they work if dropping from overhead. I did fail on a clean and dropped the weight after catching it in the “hole” about 4 feet and these didn’t budge, so that’s something I guess.Anyway these look great and feel sturdy, so far they’re a great purchase.

After searching a lot of products and reading reviews, I purchased these for our high school powerlifting team. They arrived quickly. I was a bit hesitant since they are plastic, that is not an issue at all. These are really well made, and have a firm click to lock them onto the bar.Within the first week we had a 250# squat fail and the bar dipped deeply to one side. We caught the lifter and the bar, which was at a -60 degree angle. The clamps held without slipping!
