Missing divine masculine
This book does not include the divine masculine, only the divine feminine. The horned god is entirely absent which is less than ideal.Beyond that, the book is a really good simplified book of shadows for kids. I got it for my daughter who loves it.

I Was Not Prepared for How Cute This Is!
I made my kids pagan themed baskets for Easter and got this one for my 8 year old son. I was slow for the ordering and am trying to wait to gift it for Beltane but I'm excited. I noticed a chemical structure diagram on page 19. We looked it up and it's for oxytocin the love hormone and it is witchy spiritual and scientific. Don't be worried about gender norms and not buying this for a boy. My son is really into nature, plants, crystals, and geology. I hope he loves this and his cryptid book.

Good book. Geared toward Wicca. Read my review for more.
It"s geared more toward Wicca which is fine, but I just have to keep reminding my daughter that there are many paths beyond Wicca and she doesn't have to do everything exactly as the book says. It's not a huge deal because there aren't a ton of kids books for witches.

Perfect Gift for my Nephew
I read the book before gifting it to my nephew for the holidays. He is 7, so its a little above his reading level. A great intro to someone who is interested in magic. It is definitely written for young girls. I made some notes in the margins to make it a little more gender neutral.

Great guide
My little witch absolutely loved having her own magic guide. I love that the book makes clear that setting and having good intentions is important, and think all the information within is laid out sensibly and beautifully.

Good book
My daughter loves the book but it came in with the corner of the book and pages smashed.

Great for Parents and Groups!
In our group, we have a lot of little ones, and most of them want to learn more! This book is a great way to help them and work with them. This review asked me for the age of the child I use it with. I put 7 since that seems to be about the average age that we see.

Fluffy bunny magic
Not for kids who are serious about starting on the witchcraft path. No real treatment of sensing and raising energy etc. A rather vacuous baby spell book that isn't exactly going to give a solid foundation. Much better, albeit Wiccan-focused is "Where to Park Your Broomstick" by Lauren Manoy: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0684855003

Perfect for your little witchling
A gentle introduction into the craft for young children (i bought for my 10 year old). Some easy to do spells that may need adult help (lighting candles etc) but all in all just what I was looking for. Most books are aimed at older teens and up. A very good starter book.
