We bought a Primo Manual Water Pump on a camping trip to be able to have our own water (natural spring water) with us to drink. I worked great. Once we were home we found it was perfect to have on our kitchen counter to pump water instead of having to wrangle the 5 gallon bottle to fill containers like we had been doing for years. Our first one has lasted over a year with absolutely no problems and no sign of wearing out. We purchased a second one recently and now have a 5 gallon bottle next to the bed with the pump on it. So convenient! Who needs a water cooler when this is so easy? Not us!

I specifically wanted a manual pump that did not require charging, unfortunately so many of the manual pumps are twice as much as most rechargable/electric pumps EXCEPT for this one which was fairly priced around 12/13$.So this was obviously designed specifically for Primo jugs which I guess do not have a threaded lip but instead are rounded off. Still I heard through reviews this would fit most other jugs regardless and that there is an adapter included. Well I have 2 that I thought were both pretty standard. One was whatever 3g they sell at Wal*Mart, the other is a 5g with the same sized opening. Turns out the adapter is too small, absolutely no way I could get it to work so I just stuck the pump in there and tied it down with some parachord. Holds in place pretty well I can deal with it but now there's the issue of the pump. And thank god I didn't go out and waste more money on a primo brand water jug after the failure this pump has been. I pump and I pump and I pump and when I press down it's like there is air leakage coming from where the water straw fits into the pump. It's secure as can be, and maybe that's normal, but the amount of time (and noise) it takes to draw water up is absurd. I'd say every 7th or 8th pump gets out a full stream of water, but then it's back to pumping, just entirely more work than it's worth, I would rather just pick up the jug and pour it myself. Gonna try to rig something up to fix the problem but very likely will be returning this.update: appears there was a pinsized crack in the bottom of the device, it's almost perfectly circular so I'm not sure if that's by design or a broken/defective product. Because I read other reviews on here of people who had the same issue it seems to me that it's not broken but I can't say for sure. Amazon handled the return very well as usual excellent customer service and I got a refund.

Product was shipped and packaged very well.Product was designed specifically for 5 gallon containers. A ring on the bottom of the pump is adjustable and will fit or amend to any 5 gallon drum. various lengthy plastic straws are attached to the pump and placed into the drum to draw out the water when you pump. Simply and ideal use when camping, or when you require a portal water source.Product dimensions are small and can be broken down into components so storing this pump is easy. Manufacture could have included a small bag to store all the components.Flow of the water during pumping is consistent and very little effort to dispense water. High recommended product. Though there are cheaper and generic versions of this product, the material and sturdiness of the product justify the higher price.

Could not get adapter to work on Primo 3 gallon bottle so used my wonderful Dolphin well made dispenser on it. However, this works perfect with adapter on my Enviro 3 gallon bottle. Because it is a Primo product, I gave a 4 since it would not fit their bottle. Next stop is to buy another Enviro bottle so the 2nd Primo dispenser will fit,

Awesome and complementary addition to the 5-gallon water jugs we use in our home cooler. When the power goes out and you depend on a bottom-load cooler, it is SO handy to have on hand! Wish we’d had it during Hurricane Irma’s outage! I use it on our kitchen counter to fill our 12-cup percolator coffee maker every morning. It fills effortlessly and quickly.

So happy to get rid of my old metal holder and leaky spout. This item works very easily, takes up less room, and no more leaks. Just push down top and it fills my water bottle very quickly.

Use it at the office. Used to have to go downstairs and wait for fridge to slowly fill my 32oz tumbler... five minute ordeal.Now, I keep a 3 gallon Primo jug my my desk and fill up tumbler in 5 seconds.I easily drink twice as much water, if not more.

Fit our 5 gallon jugs perfectly and easily pumps water out with no mess.
