E.gerber 100 Half-backs Standard Comic Size - 7” X 10-1/2”

Gerber products are the best.

If I could, I’d leave 4.5 stars, but feel that 4 stars is too low. Don’t get me wrong, these are excellent backing boards, and from research and results found by other comic enthusiasts (CGC forums, which I trust), they’re one of the only true acid-free options on the market.However, I’d give these 4.5 stars if I could because the boards aren’t cut accurately. I have to trim the long edges because the corners aren’t exact 90 degree angles. This might be an issue with other backing boards, but I’ve never noticed such inaccuracy. Again though, best option of the market for a truly acid-free product.

I researched prices for these boards & I couldn't find them anywhere for what price I had in mind. This seller had them at a great price and I would purchase products from them in the future.

I've been looking into putting my whole comic collection in Mylar, so far, I am on track but wanted to know more about these boards so I bought a pack, good thing. The combo of the Mylar & Half back fit perfectly, has a bit of space but placed the comic books perfectly inside the Mylar. I will buy more of these from now on.

If you're serious about your comics, you want E Gerber products. Full Backs are sturdier but make less room for the comic, which matters more for thicker comics. I use half-backs for a lot of things now, though for more valuable comics consider the full-backs. Definitely top shelf product.

The boards are quality boards and work as advertised. However, since the boards are 10 1/2" tall and always leave a fraction of an inch at the bottom of a 10 1/2" bag, they're slightly too long and the flaps don’t fold perfectly. BagsUnlimited carries some that are similar and 10 3/8” inches tall, however those cost 30-40% more.
