Actually a solid build, but neck needs another 12 inches
I researched and labored over this choice. My goal was a sturdy headboard mounted gooseneck for hands free tablet reading in bed. For my Nexus tablet the mount is stable and clean. The coated metal gooseneck is heavy duty and super stiff. It's the most quality part. One ended is a machine head screw, the other is a ball mount. The machine head screw attaches to the screw clamp mount either top or forward position. In order to get the tablet to swing back and face me I used the forward position female screw mount. The top works too but you lose just a bit of extra play. My only concern is I have a soft wood sleigh bed. I need to pad the mount with something that will save my wood from being scarred. Otherwise the clamp is not unsightly from the front. The gooseneck does appear to be enough to do bed reading. But it honestly needs another 12 inches to be a 5 star product for MY use. Others may find the neck short too, but that is for each person to decide as each person has their own agenda.

Definitely a Nice Tablet Mount
This works well to mount the tablet but I am not too fond of the clamp that holds the screwed in goose-neck part, because it is very easy to strip the threads if one is not careful. What was a bonus, was having the two separate holes that you can switch position of the goose-neck which I used to add a second tablet to my set up using only one clamp. Both tablets are held up just fine and it makes it easy to align. This is easy enough to move around to use where ever you want your tablet mounted as long as you have an edge. Lost a star for the easy to strip the threads.

Excellent BUT...Case MUST be Removed IF Tablet Thickness is greater than 1/2" (12mm)
Product seems to be of EXCELLENT--"5-Star"--quality; HOWEVER...be aware that the tablet will likely need to be removed from the case in order to mount it in the Fleximount bracket. The maximum thickness is 1/2" (12mm). The product description does not mention this restriction but, in my opinion, SHOULD and thus my downgrade to a "4 star" rating. Unfortunately another buyer comment states "the thickness does not matter"--that is NOT correct. I have to return the product as I do not want to remove the case every time I want to mount it--and that costs everyone money, time and aggravation. Including that seemingly minor detail in the product description would have saved all of that. (I assume it was not omitted intentionally.)Otherwise the product seems sturdy and well built. If you are okay with mounting the tablet without the case I could highly recommend this product and give it a "5 star" rating--just be aware of the maximum thickness restriction.

Low quality but good for the price
It's not bad for the price. The 'arm' is very stiff however it's too long to be stable enough to do much interaction; it's perfect for watching videos, not for anything that requires regular touches. If you need a long mount I suggest one with hinges and straight arms. However I don't believe those issues are problems with the design, that's just an effect from the length. The 3 star review comes because while the arm is nicely tense, the plastic parts that come with it are fragile and easy to break when adjusting the arm. As long as you are very careful and make sure to support everything properly, it shouldn't be a problem. But one wrong move and you are looking for rubber bands or spare parts. If you intend to set this up and leave it alone (we now use it in our kitchen instead) then it should be fine, ESPECIALLY for the price.

Works well so far
Fits my iPad Air 2 perfectly and I watched a couple streaming movies over the weekend on the tablet while in the Fleximount - and was able to position the screen to eye level. I like that it is adjustable to fit various-sized tablets and can lock in place. It even fits snugly when the Apple smart cover is kept on (after removing the cushion material but hanging onto that in case I want to put a different tablet on it).

Good for lighter devices
The base for the mount was a little larger than I expected, but still worked fine for the location I was placing it. Very rarely does the flexible portion of the device ever move from where I set it to, only with heavier devices will it be an issue. The problem I ran into was the frame for the tablet itself. On my lighter tablet, it never budged, but with my Nintendo Switch, it has given way a few times. Thankfully, the mount goes from my nightstand to my bed, so it only ever falls on me or the mattress, but for some people this can be costly

the tension does not support a Surface Pro 3. ...
the tension does not support a Surface Pro 3. I fooled with this for an hour and could not get it to stay in position. The plastic tablet holder is cheaply made and did not support the Surface weight well. Returned it.

I would recommend it for anyone
The Fleximount P05 Full motion Universal Tablet mount was/is a life safer to me. I have arthritis in my hands and at times could not hold my tablet but for a few minutes at a time, hence I would not read because of this. Since I have always been an avid reader, this was the answer to my reading for hours at a time. My sister, is the one who purchased this for me insisting that I could not give up on reading because of my hands. The day it arrived, I mounted it on the table by my bed, and now all I have to do is touch the screen for turning the page. No pain!! It is stong, flexible, and does the job it was intended to do. I would recommend it for anyone, not just the ones with painful conditions as I have, but anyone.
