Larger than the other filters. I freaked out when they stoped offering them, but thank heaven they're BACK. The best I've found for larger filtering projects...not just coffee. Keep in mind that they ARE big...I don't think they'll fit most drip coffee makers. These filters are an improvement over my standard #4 filters for 8-12 cups. I have a Black & Decker 12 cup coffee maker and like my coffee strong. The Melita 8-12 cup standard filters do not come all the way up the filter basket, so coffee grounds can overflow the top of the filter, meaning that I can only make 8-9 cups in order to have strong coffee. The Quantum filters are slightly too tall for my filter basket, but it does not seem to matter. I could trim them by 1/4 inch, but I don't bother. They stay upright and I have solved the overflow problem! So glad they come in unbleached and I can avoid the chemically treated white filters. Great filters.

Way too big for a standard 10-12 cup home brewer, regardless of brand. Instead of cutting these to fit, I just found myself creating a coffee pouch. But this causes the strength of the coffee to be less because the water rolls off the paper more easily. They are just too big for a home brewer, but otherwise quality filters.I feed my grounds to my avocado tree to increase the acidity level, which has helped the tree. I just carry my little coffee "pouch" outside, and the filters do not tear. I'd buy again, but I wish they would carry home brewer standard sizes.

I needed to find filters for my OXO On 12-Cup Coffee Maker and the other filters in store at Walmart, Kmart, and CVS were simply not tall enough. I found these online and decided to give them a try. They work great and my coffee tastes delicious. The manufacturer also donates a percentage of proceeds back to the community, which is an added bonus. I will definitely be reordering these in three months.

This product is fantastic! I’ve been struggling with grinds overflowing onto the top of my coffee pot since purchasing a Cuisinart 12 cup grind and brew coffee maker. The standard 10-12 cup white white filters do not allow for sufficient grinds to be contained when making 10 to 12 cups of strong coffee. This filter fixed the problem. Although concerned about the size they can comfortably fit the grind holding cup without any modification. The filter extending over the top of the grind cup causes no problem. It is wonderful to have coffee without the grinds overflowing. This is a substantial benefit and a very worthwhile product.

When I ordered filters for my Mr. Coffee 12 cup maker I failed to read the customer feedback below which included that these filters are 9 3/4 " in diameter and the 8" was the size that I needed. Quantum emailed me independently to check on my satisfaction and when I mentioned the size they happily replaced the filters with the correct size. I was THRILLED with the service!

Smelled like (and coffee tasted like) pure chemicals. Is it treated with formaldehyde? Threw them out.

Many coffee filters are too thick, particularly when you get to the bottom of the stack. These are consistent and drain nicely
