RealWheels RW0028VSB-2 2.8" Rubber Valve Stem Stabilizer for Aluminum Wheels

These fit my Itasca 2005 class A with the aluminum wheels with the holes. I threaded through the hole and pushed it in and you can hear the back edge snap into place. My old valve extenders were being cut By the back edge of the holes in the wheel, causing a slow leak. Not any more. Replaced valve extenders and used this product. Relieved that I’m getting a good pressure reading on all the tires and the valve extenders are protected. I did get extenders for the front tires with the kit I got separately. I did not put them on because my current stems are accessible and they are rubber. Advised not to put on the fronts if stems are rubber because if you brush a curve you could damage and get a flat tire. The last thing you want to have happen. Happy motor-homing friends.

The valve extensions on my 2020 International dually were impacting the aluminum rims. I had been on the watch for this. The "lightening holes" through the rims measure 2.25". I purchased this product as it said it works for 2"-2.25" holes.On installation, I saw that the OD of the rubber did not snugly contact the ID if the holes. Lucky, the lips are great enough to prevent movement. I have since installed a TPMS indicator as you can see in the picture so don't think anything is going anywhere especially as the wheel begins to turn.This is the reason for the drop to 2 stars on thickness and 3 stars overall. Time will tell if the grommet stays in place.

High quality thick rubber, yes I received 2 stabilizers and they are thick, supple rubber. The hole in my wheel is 1 3/4" so I trimmed slightly and it fits tight and in my opinion very neatly. I never found inserts for my size wheel so I made them work. Picture below. I recommend this product.

Fit the holes in Alcoa Aluminum 22.5 wheels quite well. Used these to support the air line for a dual tire air pressure equalizer system where it passes through from the outside wheel to the inside wheel. Made clean looking install and supports the air line from moving around very well.

These aluminum wheel inserts did a great job to stabilize my valve extensions on my RV tires. I had to lubricate the rubber inserts a little with some dish soap to get them into the holes on the wheels. I attached a pic to show what they look like after the installation.

I measured the opening in my wheel at 2.5" and these rubber grommets fit perfectly. They will provide excellent stabilization for the new rigid valve stem extensions on our Class C RV. Mounted over the valve stem extension and inside the associated wheel hole, once the chrome wheel simulator is installed, the rubber grommet is sealed in place. No worries of it vibrating loose while driving. Highly recommend.

Advertised to fit 2.5" wheel hole, they don't. They come loose the first trip and try to break the valve stem. I repeatedly refit them, they never would stay put so I removed them and threw them away.

If you have rubber valve stems with TPMS sensors on them, you may need these stabilizers. I used them on 22.5 inch aluminum Accuride wheels on my motorhome to stop the TPMS sensors from contacting the wheel, which was causing wear on the sensor and the wheel. Easy to install.
