MPJ Spring Loaded Plantation Shutter Replacement Repair Pins (100)

The original pins on our 15+ year old shutter blinds fail on a regular basis so I keep a supply of these on hand to repair them. The hardest part is removing the old pin - one half of it usually has to be drilled out, at least on my blinds. The new ones are easy to install and seem to be pretty durable since none of the replacements have failed.

I have plantation shutter throughout my home and over the years we have spent a fortune having a repairman come in and fix them when one of the dowels broke. This was a easy fix for my husband, after he figured out which drill size he needed to clear out the old dowel it took him just a couple of minutes to finish the job!My only complaint is on at least one of the replacement pieces the spring does not work so it will not be usable, but for about a buck each it is well worth the little loss. Still a great deal.

I have shutters all over the house and the problem with opening and shutting every single day is friction and it is the enemy of all moving parts. But this little gem is amazing. OMG what a life saver. One of the slats on my shutters broke the other week so as moat people do is they take to YouTube and I found the link to this product in the description and prayed it was available in GBUK as well. And it was thank god and mine arrived yesterday in the post and it was easy to do and I now have a moving slat again. I would commend this product in a heart beat.

Our plantation shutters have been broken for a while and I came across these shopping for something else. The shutter pin on these was slightly larger that the original but increasing the size of the hole in the original shutter was easy enough and didn’t affect it structurally. Glad to have it fixed!
