I shopped around quite a bit before finding these plates, and I’m glad I did! Most other wooden plates on Amazon are either fake wood or made from multiple pieces of wood glued together — prone to breaking and all around fragile, judging by product reviews. I decided to spend the extra money to get a plate made from a solid piece and settled on these.The shipping, packaging, and quality of the plates are top-notch. I purchased two sets in order to have 4 plates, and the sets I received came boxed as a matching set (I had considered making a request to the seller for this, but they did it without prompt! The boxes were labeled “this is a set, do not separate” for their shipping warehouse). The packaging was all recyclable material, the product is fair-trade, and the finish on the wood is beautiful.I hope to get many happy years’ use out of these.P.S. if you’re going with real wooden plates, or wooden anything in your kitchen really, don’t forget to oil them after use! You’ll get many more miles out of your cookware this way.Cheers!

These plates are awesome. they look ad feel well made, smooth and elegant. quick rinse and wipe clean does it. I use them daily as trays, plates or a place-setting/charger. They will fulfill all... they were a pleasant surprise as to how they enhance the look of a table. My original intention was to have these for quick daily usage for myself at home, but now I plan to purchase more to use for company as well as needed.

The pair are sturdy and strong. I keep them on the counter for fruit, mostly. The slightly upcurved edges keep things (like a handful of walnuts in the shell) from rolling out. I LOVE that they STACK. Very nice.

One of the plates warped so badly that it rocked a lot. I had to return them. They were pretty, but I want my plate to stay flat on the table.

Purchased 4 plates but 2 were not scooped enough to be a plate, not carved thin but instead were way too heavy and no shape but just round wood. The second 2 plates were gorgeous, not too thin but at same time thin enough to be a plate :) so I returned 2 and left 2 which I can’t stop looking at it and being careful with using (washing)

They look great, they're big and they exactly what I wanted. Love these plates!
