Camera works well. Problem is the video format can't be played by most video players. I tried a dvd player and it could not handle the 1920x1080P format. a video player. I bought a video player that could play it but it was cheap and the mechanism ate the micro SD card and couldn't recognize it and could not release the micro SD card. The only thing I could play the video in was a Mac computer. It defeated my purpose of being able to give this to my mother in law to see if she had people coming into her apartment and having an inexpensive way of her viewing the results.

I bought this as I was moving to a new place out of state and I’d be in an out often. I plugged it in at the end of October for the first time with the chip in the back. Nothing was out of the ordinary so I never reviewed the video. Today I decided to see how it’s been working. I plugged the chip into my chip reader and there wasn’t a single video on there. So I go to check it and nothing is happening with the recorder when it’s plugged in. Won’t even charge any device and no lights come on. Obviously it’s never worked since there is no recorded footage. Very disappointed and frustrated to pay for this camera and it not work..... at all. To add to my review, I contacted the seller about a replacement on November 17th. She told me she’d send a replacement at no charge. I emailed her last week as I have not received the replacement yet after a month and a half of waiting with no reply yet. Bad product and bad customer service. At this point I think she was hoping I’d just forget about it.

U get what u pay for. However, it did work well when it was working. When i troubleshot it to see y it stopped working, many solder points were broken off, not making electrical contact.

I have to return this item because it just don't work. Waste of money.

This product proves extremely useful and inconspicuous. Instructions are also very clear.
