we have a treadmill in basement and wanted something to make time pass while exercising, and so i bought these folding shelves. drilled them into wall, drilled piece of wood to the fold up/out part, and boom,instant fold out table, really nice. plenty sturdy for a laptop, its made of thick metal so im sure could support heavy load if you hit the studs in the wall when screwing them to wall. one design they would improve, imaging installing this into a wall, and the fold out part is extended up/out while your trying to drill screws through the bottom bracket that mounts to the studs, with electric drill need a big extension and just cant get good leverage to screw in. see pic the fold out part that i put my shelf on is slightly wobbly once extended but i think thats to be expected

I was surprised by the quality of these brackets for the price! Excellent buy, I mounted a cutting board 14.5 X 21 onto these brackets. I live in a 5th wheel always needing additional prep space, solid design, folds down easily, no pinched fingers either! I cut on the board and have used our crock pot on this, very solid! Seriously a great buy!

We got these to build a floating desk onto my daughters bunk beds for home school. They are very sturdy, easy to install and do the job!

I installed these with a piece of MDF (for the first run) on the back door of my work van as a mobile work bench. They seem sturdy. The powder coating is well done. They installed easily.

We used these to add a folding laundry table. Allowed me to have extra space to fold yet drop down when not in use in order to give more space for the door to the garage. Love this feature. Very sturdy and have not had any issues.
