We applied this tape to a couple of chairs that our cats suddenly decided to start climbing on and clawing- 4 years after we purchased the furniture. The tape adheres well and discouraged our cats from damaging the furniture. It can be a little challenging to remove the paper backing, but otherwise, we are happy with the product.

This tape works well on furniture.But it does not work on carpeting/rugs.It’s sticks just fine to the rug, but I don’t want to walk on sticky tape. If you had a version of this tape that was only sticky on one side, I could put it on my rugs where the cat likes to scratch and pull out the loops and still be able to walk on it.I am now able to walk on it only because I did not pull off the white covering from the top side. It looks ridiculous.So please get to work on a one sided tape that you can use on rugs and carpets.Ps. Packing/shipping tape is not an option because it is too sticky and it damages the rug when you try to remove it. Sigh….

It’s basically a very sturdy double sided roll of tape. It has stayed on the door frame and my cat immediately hated the feeling of her little paws sticking to the tape when she tried scratching again. Hasn’t touched it since.

We used this to prevent our 6 month old kittens from climbing window screens. It worked great! I applied strips horizontally about 2 inches apart. It has stayed on the screen, and is easy to remove.

Exactly what I needed. 3 cats, and Klipsch speakers that I didn't want to become cat scratchers. One of my cats is weird though, she keeps licking the tape.

I applied it to my main doorway, because my cats claw up the carpeting. I've not had to replace it since the first application, and they haven't clawed the carpet since. I haven't removed it so I can't speak for the removal process or possible damage

This tape is better than I thought. We recently adopted two 4 month old kittens. I forgot how they like to sharpen their claws on everything. This has really helped! I added some to the corner of our couch and as soon as they touch it, they stop. I also was concerned about them going on our railing by our steps and then falling off. They don't even go near the railing anymore. It is really sticky but I removed some of it from the railing and it came up easily. This tape has been a lifesaver, literally!

Worked like a charm in the one place I have used it so far. Unless I have any negative issues in the future I can safely recommend PROTECTO Cat Scratch Tape as a way to stop a cat from scratching up places on the carpet.Update: My cat adjusted to the stickiness and continues to scratch in certain areas but not all of them. I'm still keeping the 5 star rating all the same.

Please read the description properly. I bought as my cats had pulled my carpet on the stairs. Doublesided tape wasn't ideal for this and when pulled it up it pulled the carpet out!

Stops the cat from scratching the furniture but looks awful. It also makes the furniture fluffy if you pull it off. Gets bits stuck to it too.

Great stickiness but everything tends to stick to it even the cat?

Il respect ses engagements protéger la porte des griffure d’animaux. Mais au bout d’une bonne semaine (quand l’adhésive été usé par les coups de pattes de mon chien) j’ai voulu changer la bande question de propreté mais aussi car elle ne protéger plus grand chose. Quel a été ma surprise quant en voulant l’enlever tranquillement il a abîmer ma porte plus que mon chien. Ma porte fait effet bois et en enlevant l’adhésive la « peinture » reste sur la bande. Il arrache carrément la porte. Satisfaite au début. Mais fortement déconseillé pour mettre sur du bois !!!! Le reste du rouleau sera soit jeter ou servira de double face.

Si tratta di un biadesivo che lascia dunque uno strato appiccicoso dal lato esposto, quindi si attacca qualunque forma di sporcizia oltre che il pelo del gatto stesso. Non mi piace.
