2 NYX Born To Glow Liquid illuminator Full Set"LI 01 & LI 02"

I try not to go on youtube so much because, I'll see one of my favorite beauty gurus recommending a product..... then of course I have to buy it! Half the time, it's worth the money! The other half, I feel like I threw my money into the trash. But I wanted a pigmented highlighter, that wasn't too pricey just in case I ended up hating it. Well, I ended up loving these NYX Liquid Highlighters! The best part is that it came in a set, so I have a highlighter perfect for winter when I'm lighter (Sunbeam-pale pink pearl) & for summer when I get a little more tan (Gleam-golden peach pearl). I'm very prone to breakouts, but these didn't break me out or make me look oily. I love how it's liquid, and the squeeze bottle allows you to control how much of the product you want to use. The price is great for two, and a little goes a long way. These will last me a long time, even though I highlight every time I apply makeup. I would say, the only downside is that because it has such a great staying power, you have to work fast before it dries.*I will take swatches & attach some pictures

Really like the colors. Mostly I use LI 01 as a highlighter... My routine usually consists of apply foundation, highlighting and contouring with concealer and bronzer, setting my makeup with a spray, then using this illuminator for an extra boost of highlight. I've also added LI 02 to my foundation, but honestly feel like it didn't make much of a difference.

I'm usually a fan of NYX products but these highlighters were just not that great. They feel and look like cheap dollar store makeup. They don't really highlight anything. I used them as a really soft blush by mixing the two together. I think I will stick to my anastasia beveryhill illuminators for now.

This is my first time messing around with products like this so I'm not all that certain how they're supposed to work. I just know how I'm planning to use them.The lighter one is what I'm using to mix with the tinted moisturizer to lighten it up even more and give me that bit of glow that my skin needs. This is a very creamy formula - it will squirt out on you if you're not careful. I just the non-opening end of the tube against my palm before I open it.The darker one I'll use as a creamy bronzer or contour. It seems a bit too dark to mix with foundation but I may try just to see what it looks like.The sparkle is very subtle. You're not going to look like some crazy disco ball or anything. A little bit goes a long way, which seems to be a theme with NYX products.

I love the lighter one was introduced to it from my ipsy so I decided to try the combo... the darker one is too dark for everyday use... I will use it when I want to look more tan but I'm naturally tan already. I won't re-purchase combo. They are beautiful on no makeup days. but can't really see the shine when makeup is used with it. I've tried various ways of application, but still best results is a no make up kinda day.

I just got these and I'm in love! Even my husband said my face looked great. I've used the pink one...sparingly, first, then my bare mineral base, blush, n finishing powder. My face glowed , it looked like, from the inside and that I just had the perfect, youthful glow. Not too shiny, no sparkles, blends perfectly, and I can't wait to try the other as well...I bought both and I'm so glad I did, because one I used the first, ID def be running to the store to buy the more natural color. Buy both...you'll be happy you did.

Am I alone in this?? I hear nothing but love for these streaky, awful reflections like a bike in the night then nothing * frustrated sigh* I tried to wear Both every way imaginable. It turned into a hot mess every time. I was so excited about it to- it's so not worth it. I can't see it working on others when they love it- more power to y'all I know my makeup and this just did not work. Maybe on others have magic complexions but I'm calling it- overhyped no delivery. I'm sorry Nyx 😢
