I bought this from my husband’s amazon account. I wanted a nice fountain pen, for journaling. There is such a huge variety of prices, and I understand you get what you pay for, at least to a point. This pen is a little bit heavy, but the weight also makes it feel substantial, and gives weight to the words I write. I don’t know calligraphy, and probably won’t learn it, but I do like this pen. It looks nice, it feels nice and writes smoothly. I am sure some pens at three times the price, may be better, but this is a great tool. I have only used the cartridge ink thus far, so I cannot speak how the other ink holder works. I have used it for a couple of weeks, and have not had ink all over my hands.

Beiluner fountain pen is very good to get smooth writing. It comes with stainless steel nib with smooth point which helps for smooth writing. The design/shape of the pen is well planned to help the ease of writing, Package comes with the leather box to keep the pen safe. Leather box is very good and looks luxury. Pen got the injector type refillable converter which is easy to refill ink to use. Fixing the converter after refill is designed like a screw type were as the cap is made as push type to open and close.Along with it comes 6 cartridges to use on the go when required. very comfortable pen to write as long as you want.

The clip quick came loose. The pen writes well but the clip is poorly designed.UPDATE: The owner seller reached out to me on this and offered a full refund for this item. I received that refund quickly and with no issues. While I still can't recommend the pen, the seller does take care of their customers.

The media could not be loaded.  This pen will make a wonderful gift. It comes in a lovely, exterior package with the pen maker’s logo embossed on the front and sides. Inside the exterior packing is a faux-leather box with detailed, white thread stitching and the maker’s logo embossed on the top and bottom of the lid. The contents include the pen (which is is held in place with a pretty, white ribbon), 6 replacement ink cartridges, an instructional insert, and a thank you card. The instructions for loading the pen are very easy to follow, whether you’re using the cartridges or the converter. You can also interchange the converter while using cartridges or vice versa. In addition to keeping your pen safe, the box also acts as a nice keeper for the extra cartridges and unused converter.When you take the pen apart to insert the cartridge, it is surprisingly weighty, with a nice grip and smooth feel. Once you give the ink about 5 minutes to saturate the pen, the ink flows smoothly, with no skipping or bleeding. Overall, this is an extremely fair price for the quality received. I would definitely buy one of these pens again.

Not too fat and not too skinny. I like the medium nib on this pen that smoothly glides over paper. It has been many years since I used a fountain pen and the brown design I purchased is attractive and sleek. The barrel fit my hands and is easy to hold. The brass between the nib and the barrel in my opinion needs to be not so smooth. I can easily fix this.Take into consideration though that my hands have a lot of arthritis. Well, that is just the way it is. The black ink that is supplied flows with just the right amount of pressure applied and dries quickly with no smudging. For the price of this pen you can't go wrong if you like writing with a fountain pen. I really need to go back to 4th grade writing class! :)

Love the look and feel of the pen. Writes smooth I actually like it better than some other brands I have purchased. However the huge drawback and low rating is the pen constantly leaks. When I take the top off I have to the clean the pen before using.

Nice pen, writes nice, but the instructions for installing the ink need to be much, much, way, way, clearer.

After my initial review, I was contacted by the vendor and apparently the first pen I got was defective, they sent me a replacement and that one is perfect, no leaks, writing is spot on... I would recommend buying with confidence at least you know the vendor stands by their product and will gladly replace it or refund you if anything is wrong, you have nothing to loose!!I don’t like to leave reviews for inferior products, but I have been getting emails asking for reviews of the pen... well it’s not the best pen I owned (and I own a Lot of fountain pens) it leaks a lot, writing quality is not that great.
