I am really happy with this purchase. The colors are not as bright as they show up on the website, in person the red and blue are muted but look really good. The color portions are a plastic material and the black area is a rubber like material that grips the air pods nice and snug. The first pair of air pods case was just silicon or rubber and it was not fun putting and taking them out of my pocket. But this case and its plastic outer shell (which virtually adds no additional bulk) slide in and out smoothly. I would recommend this case to any one.
