Not quite what I expected, but because they're easier on my hair, I'm ok with them. I'm used to Goody ouch-free (metal-free) from the grocery store. These are not that. Goody ones give a tight fit at first, with three wraps. Then as they stretch, you need four wraps, which is tight at first, then eventually loosen and I toss. But the Goody ones are harder on my hair, always lose some strands when I take off. These are much easier on my hair. These are slightly thicker, but not enough to matter. They much harder to stretch initially, which might pose an issue for arthritic hands. But with three wraps, they slip down on pony tail, with my fine hair. Four wraps, they're very tight. With four wraps, the elastic pulls away from the plastic join piece and has a (half-inch) gap around the plastic join piece, but they're still held together by the fabric, so not an issue. (Other brands do this as well.) I do the four wraps, then loosen hairs that have pulled too tight and hurt, as pulled-too-tight can damage the hair follicle (and lead to hair loss). I suspect since these are harder to stretch initially, that the stretchiness may last longer, but haven't used long enough to verify.

I love the fact that this Bubble A smooth all the way around it has no Seam it has great stretch & last the distance. It’s very durable does not break easily comes in various shades so will have no problem matching up with your hair colour.

I stand firmly in the 2 loops of a hair tie after 5 wears is too loose, but I have too much hair to make a third loop. Well, these stretch enough to make a third loop after a few wears when your average band would be too loose and still too tight. After looping three times they keep working. You get a ton of them for the money, you can drop a few into the purse, a few into the car console, the work out bag, the desk, the bedside table and still have a ton for the closet storage. I am really happy and satisfied with the purchase.

There is a reason why over 100 come in a package. These are extremely poor quality. I barely stretch them out and after a day of wearing, the elastic weakens and breaks. These were cheaply made and in no way can last more than several days. Stay away and buy something higher quality. These are a nightmare. I have to carry around like 10 just in case they all break.

I have thick, frizzy 2 foot long hair and these do the job. When one breaks I have SO many I’m not even worried about it. I have them everywhere, in my bedroom, bathroom, hallway, couch, laundry room, car, office. And it seems the bag is never ending 😅 definitely worth the price.

Your typical hair tie. You've seen these everywhere, nothing fancy or complicated. Buy these if you are always losing hair ties or want something no-frills to put your hair up with. The package is non-descript and falls apart easily. The hair ties themself are springy. black polyester with a rubber inline. As advertised, no metal components. They can last 1-2 weeks without any problems of durability, however, the bands collect dirt and hair oils easily.Overall, I rate this a solid 7.5/10, with the caveat that if you have sensitive/brittle hair, these ties can be taught enough to cause some breakage when used in a tight ponytail/bun.

There’s so many that even if you lose some, you’re bound to have plenty back ups. They work for my medium thick straight hair and I gifted them to someone with medium thick wavy hair and they work just as well.

I just dump a ton of these strechy boys in any room I spend my time in. Great value, and I can always go pony tail.
