I am refurbing a 1950s dinette set, and the feet on the chairs are really beaten up. These floor protectors were easy to get onto the 1" legs, and fit nice and snug: no worries about them coming loose when moving the chairs. I like the fact that they are transparent, and really don't detract from the look of the chair legs when in place. There is a little felt/cork (not sure which) on the bottom, and the chairs slide effortlessly now, without any risk of damage to the floors.

We have only had these on our chairs for about a month, but so far so good. They were easy to install, and we haven't had any movement of them, or any sign that they are going to come off. I didn't give them a 5 star, because they aren't very attractive, but hey, they work, so I'm happy.

Checked out reviews before buying. Very important to select the right size. I measured carefully and they fit perfectly for what I needed them for. Some old chairs with worn out bottoms. Will be using on a back porch for when we have extra people over. Haven't had chance to put them to the test, but I don't see any issues since they fit nice and snug and had no issues putting them on.

I have a number of these in different sizes. They are far superior to stick on felt pads. But, they are sometimes difficult to put on and some seem softer and more flexible and others are very stiff. The softer ones appear to stick a little to the chair leg and the stiff ones will fall off if they aren't a perfectly snug fit. And, sometimes, you cannot get a perfectly snug fit because of sizing. But, overall, the best solution out there for padding furniture legs that have to move.

After too many attempts at the stick-on type, I decided I needed to try this style instead. I searched around and chose this one, and I am glad I did. I was worried it would be too tight as they were at the upper edge of the size, put they fit very well and both my floor and I are very happy with the results.

Purchase was a replacement for slip-on felt floor protectors. The original hard rubber floor protectors started to break apart after 15 years. This item is a big improvement over the felt ones. The clear heavy, flexible plastic is almost invisible on the lacquered metal chair legs, and after two months have not slipped off the legs when chairs are moved or during cleaning. The chairs slide smoothly on my parquet floor. Time will tell how well the bottom pad holds out. For the price, even if they need to be replaced in a couple years, definitely worth trying.
