I am not going to get all technical with speeds and all that fun stuff. I review from experiencing the product. I have used multiple cables to connect my modem to my router, router to a PC laptop 2 rooms away and to my XBOX One X.1) Pure and simple I have no lag on Apex Legends. My son plays Fortnite: no lag and no dropping. My daughter plays her Roblox and she USED to have lags...none.2) The cables are strong and and the ends so much stronger than my previous purchase of another brand. Made to last.If you want durability and get that extra boost in gaming, get these puppies.

I also had an other problem because I live an old apartment and there no outlet for the Ethernet. Then I found this. This is a very strong cable and it is not very expensive. The best part is the speed you can get. Over all great cable.

My Ethernet cable from my router to my modem is already ageing and showing significant signs of wear. We can tell by the quality test that jitter often times is high at 10ms. So, I looked for the latest and greatest this CAT8 cable seems to fit the job.I got the the 2 pack, and they came in an ordinary plastic with zip lock. Immediately I am impressed at how premium the gold plated LAN connectors are. The cable itself is very hefty and heavy, you can easily tell that this cable have very good shielding in it. The shielding is very important to protect it from any electronic interference. I was able to replace the cables in seconds and I didn't even have to reboot my router or modem. I immediately performed a speed test and had the jitter at a low 1ms which almost fiber optic quality. I have 3 gaming computers at home, and we played games together and didn't notice any lag or drop unlike before.Overall, I have nothing to complain against this cable. This looks very premium and feels very durable. Highly recommended.

I have used cat6 before and when I was looking to get a little more I found this cat8. It has increased noticeable speed and connection to the vast interwebs. I was worried that I wouldn't be noticed because it it one of those things of forest for the trees. But yes, I would recommend for the price and for the speed.

I scoured Amazon for new ethernet cables for my PS4 and Vizio Quantum X P-Series TV and these were the best you can get for sub $10. I got the 9ft and 6ft and both cables are high quality and durable cables. With CAT8 im also future proofing my cabling because CAT7 and below was only $1-$2 savings. Even if your system is only CAT5e or CAT6, its worth the extra buck to get the CAT8 so that you won't need to purchase cables for the next 5 years. Money well spent because direct connection is much faster and better experience for gaming and television.

I actually had to have my daughter fiddle with this because it didn’t work when I first hooked it up. It had me so frustrated because we wanted to be able to watch Netflix and Prime from our DVD player. I guess it was just me, because my daughter had it going in 10 minutes and now we’ve had no problems. I just wish we had better internet service!

So, these seem like a good cable, we’ll see. That said, I used these to wire my WiFi router to an extender. Prior to wiring my 100 MB service I got ~30 MB speed over the WiFi. After wiring a 100’ run from my router to the extender I’m getting 90-100 MB speeds! BIG difference. So at this time I have to give 5 stars across the board.

Replaced an old CAT 5 cable with this one. View streaming content on this network. With the old cable sometimes the video would stutter and show a little spinney thing while the picture buffered into my device. Since the cable upgrade we have not had any incident of buffering on our streaming movies. Definitely recommend an upgrade if you have Internet access of at least 100MB per second -- an absolute MUST for gigabit networks.
