I bought this to try it out and with no musical talent at all so I had little hopes of enjoying it. I was pleasantly surprised as it was very fun to play with right out of the box. It was also in really good tune when I got it. The included tuner is a must especially if you are musically challenged like myself! The sound of it and ease in which you can start making up tunes is wonderful. All the included gear with it makes sure you can learn and keep it in tune easily. If you find you have idle time here and there, even for just a few minutes it is a great little instrument to have on hand. Side note though, it may drive your spouse kind of bonkers when you first get it! To you it sounds super cool and fun but to them it can be like a busted door bell! (don't say I didn't warn you... or you're welcome!)

This is a really nice little instrument. It is made of a nice wood, has a good tone that doesn’t sound like a toy but a real instrument, is tunable, and even come with a tuner. The little songbook it comes with is very easy to understand and I played my first song within minutes of picking it up.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son who plays everything with strings. He loved it and started playing it right away. Then we passed it around and everyone played with it. It has a wonderful pleasant sound and was great. Its well made and exceeded my expectations. I'm going to get another for a gift for my other son that plays piano as its very transportable. Even if you aren't musical, you will enjoy playing it. Try something new!!!

This produce is well made. It comes with accessories and tools to keep it tuned. Plus the note stickers are helpful when leaning the instrument. The thumb protectors are perfect until you learn how to use the keys without sore thumbs. The tune kit is very helpful. Anyone who wants tuning accuracy will appreciate this additional item. Lots of fun!

A beautiful instrument that simple and fun to play. It is great for kids too, because they can play anything on it and it sounds good.

The Kalimantan is fun to play. The tone quality is enjoyable. It is attractive but a better quality finish on the woodcwould be a big upgrade.

Pleasant enough sound to gift to your 5 yr old who's interested in music. Very good, easy to read/understand instructions for beginners too.

It is fun to use, haven't learned to tune it yet, and a couple seem out of tune, but it is a neat little instrument.
