The Carolina Reaper (HP22B) was developed in South Carolina by Ed Currie. In November 2013, the Carolina Reaper was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the hottest pepper in the world as ranked by Scoville Units out-ranking the Moruga Scorpion. People describe Carolina Reaper as having a distinctive smokey taste with a slow and steady increase in spiciness. Using only a small amount will add a significant amount of satisfying spiciness. Our Carolina Reaper Powder is delicious and tremendously spicy – a small dash can easily be used in most dishes. Our unique jar is also reusable for other spices or household items after you have finished enjoying our product. We sell only the highest quality product possible. A little sprinkle will suffice.
Great flavor fruity aroma. Not that much for the money though.

Hot Stuff!!
Some hot stuff!! Labeling could be a bit better. Something this hot should have a cautionary statement on the label in regards to handling.

Pretty damn hot
Pretty damn hot. Wish the description had been clearer about the size of the bottle, only 1/4 oz. For the price I can get an oz of Reaper powder minus the bottle.

I LOVE THIS PEPPER
My first experience with the Reaper..... I LOVE THIS PEPPER! has a bit of Habanero fruitiness , but with a distinct earthiness to my tongue. i like the fact that i can add intense heat to certain cream sauces without the clunkiness of adding vegetable matter . i'll to add 1/4 tsp to 1 cup nonfat pain yogurt , which i use as a dip , or add to tacos and quesedillas . For Asian foods , i like to add a littleto my saute oil for PadThai , and dust my sushi and sashimi with it in place of wasabi .i find myself making food as a simple medium for the heat .....just an excuse to taste the Reaper !kyle
