this was needed for my beats tour earphones due to my iphone 5s case didn't allow the earphones jack to plug in all the way.this adapter did not impact the volume controls and the adavance forward/back functions on the headset. i also did not notice any difference im sound quality ...the style/color/feel matches the red earphones so that's definitely an added plus ... the length is just perfect as well .the price is just unbelieveable as stores like radio shack sell worse quality adapters at much higher prices ..i have not tested using this adapter when answering phone calls on the earphones .. once i do & it works, i'll change this rating to five stars .

Awesome. I used it for my Rane 57 in an older Odyssey Case. The case doesn't have a removable face so I can't reach the headphone ports without leaving an inch or so of open space in the front of the mixer. This didn't let me close the lid in the back to cover up my wiring. This little headphone adapter allowed me to be able to push my mixer all the way to the front while having my headphones plugged in. It bought me more room in the back of the mixer and also lets me cover my wiring with the built in lid. It is really low profile, exactly what I needed.

I purchased this adapter because my Beats Solo Headphones plug struggles to fit properly due to the Otter Box Case of my iPhone 5s. This only had 4 reviews when I purchased it, but one of the reviews said that with this adapter you could still control the volume, etc. through the headset. It worked for sound, but nothing else. I'm not sure if I received a dud or what, but I am returning it ASAP. Very disappointed. I am purchasing the "StarTech.com MUHSMF2M 2m 4 Position TRRS Headset Extension Cable" from Amazon.com. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

The right angle is as slim as can be. This saves me from mangling my headphone cable when I'm using my laptop on the plane. Unfortunately, this little adapter diminishes sound quality.

great product. i have beats headphones and i accidentally unplug them alot so i would rather break these instead of the expensive head phones. ill be buying this product again cause i will break them cause i have to bend them hard to fit them in my phone case for riding so there worth it.

If you have a detachable, or even non-detachable cable for your head phones, you need an L axis extender. Otherwise, if you keep your phone in your pocket, your cable will short at the end due to constant bending. This extender is quality and does not cause interference in the signal whatsoever. I recommend this to any and everyone.

Very nicely made right-angle adapter! I use it with my iPhone so that I can rest it on my chest at night with headphones in--straight headphone plugs poke into my chest. Right-angle adapters also keep wear and tear on the headphone jack lower. Works great on an iPhone 6 Plus with an Apple leather case, no problems with interference between the case and head.
