This coiled cable works as advertised. Sturdy and well made. Great price @ $10 each.....Works with CarPlay NO issues, cable has a tiny green LED on the lightning end that lets you know it is receiving power. I'm using this with a Sony AX1000 double-din radio installed in a 2009 Honda Odyssey. I'm running iPhone 12pro GPS-nav, SirriusXM , and making calls with the phone showing green charging mode through out. Arrive at your destination with your phone fully charged up.Most notable is the coiled cable stays compact when not needed and you don't get the "white lightning cable jungle" in the center console area of the car.....NO issues with "not compatible" warnings either.....

I purchased this cord specifically for use in the car. While it claims to be certified, it in fact does not work for CarPlay, leading to frequent communications errors and disconnects or simply failing to recognize a connected phone as a CarPlay device entirely.Additionally, the material this cable is made from is not particularly flexible. As a result, the coiled portion of the cord does not extend easily making it effectively a very short, but unnecessarily bulky cable.

This works well in the car for CarPlay, and passes all data back-and-forth with no issues. Nice to have a tidy cable there instead of something dangling around all the time.

Perfect for Apple car play

It’a my first time trying a coiled charging cable and I love it. It came in a pack of 2 cables so I kept one in my car and took one to work. The coiled format keeps it compact (think space saver), while still being able for extending to regular length if needed. Lightning charging function works great - it saves me a lot of time charging my iPhone!

Purchased this cord for my car. Unfortunately, it is too short. The cord is very taut thus not allowing me to lengthen the cord enough for my phone to be placed on the holder without causing undue pressure on the lightning and the USB connectors.

Only one of the cords out of this 2 pk would charge my phone and connect to the car for Apple play. The other one would only charge my phone but would not connect for Apple play, making it pointless.

I bought these about 5 months ago and could tell by the reinforcements that these were built to last. For some reason, one of them stopped working and within 3 days, a replacement was at my door.
