This brand is the best. Well worth the extra $ - I use a lot less due to its potency.I first encountered the use of traditional Japanese fermented, pickled umeboshi plums through some macrobiotic friends. I discovered much later that the brine/vinegar from the fermentation is awesome. I use it almost daily now.

Best flavored umezu
I've been using Eden brand umezu for a while now, but I saw this and decided to give it a try. This has a much more subtle depth of flavor, almost oaky. I'll definitely be buying this brand from now on.

Great value and flavor
This is my second time ordering this vinegar. It ‘s the only kind of vinegar I like on my green salad. This brand is great.

I'm sure it is tasty, but I thought it was going to be the drinkable plum vinegar like the stuff that comes in squeezable packages, also sold on Amazon -- Shih Chuan Vinegar Drink, Plum, 29.6 Ounce (Pack of 4). My mistake, but if that happens to others the description should make clear that it is real vinegar, not for drinking.

Great tasting vinegar,I use it with seseme oil on my salad.A little goes a long way just be mindful that it is salty so no extra salt is needed.
