Soft, durable, great value for the money
Bought these a couple of months ago. In the beginning they were scratchy like new cotton clothes often are, but they softened up after a couple of washes and continue to get softer. In the first week or 2 several of them had a bit of minor fraying/giving off threads where the fabric ended, but no damage or falling apart. I just trimmed them off and I haven't seen any new issues in weeks, they're pretty sturdy! I just wash them in with regular white laundry, no special treatment needed. These will get about as wrinkled as any laundered cotton item, but they'll be smoother if you air dry them flat. I don't usually bother though, these are functional handkerchiefs, not decorative. If you want decorative, go for pocket squares.

Great every-day cloth na,pkins
I am very pleased with these napkins. Although they don't come out of the dryer wrinkle-free, they fold nicely for everyday use. They get softer when washed, the edges are well sewn, and they wash and dry well. Great buy for every-day cloth napkins. Definitely recommend.

Bought in 2016, still going strong in 2023
I first bought these in 2016, and they have held through allergies, illness, cleaning. I'm only buying a second set because I want to divide them between work, home, and cleaning. I think I have lost more than I have thrown away because they didn't hold up, which I think is maybe one total and even that was after 3-4. They will shrink in the wash but they have held up just fine. They do wrinkle after washing but I haven't been bothered by it.

Decent handkerchiefs
I ordered these handkerchiefs after reading many current reviews. Although these may not be the best handkerchiefs on the market, they are more than adequate. Many people complained that they need to be ironed, and this is true. Anything that is 100% cotton needs to be ironed. The alternative is to purchase something that is part polyester, but these generally will be less absorbent. My husband prefers the cotton. There were also complaints that little threads of cotton appeared at the hems after washing, and this was also true for some of them. Anyone who sews knows that this is difficult to prevent entirely. It is easy enough to snip them off after the first washing to prevent any further unraveling. It really isn't a big deal. People also complained of thin fabric. I compared these to other handkerchiefs that we have, and they are no worse than any other white fabric including white fleece. My hand when I held up the fabric to the light for every one I tried except a white towel, and I don't think anyone would suggest using that in place of a handkerchief. The only reason that I gave the handkerchiefs four stars instead of five is that I would prefer they be a little softer. I've found, however, that even the stiffest fabric will soften up the more times it is washing. I'm sure I could find a softer product if I were willing to pay a good deal more. However, my husband uses many handkerchiefs is a week, and I was willing to give up a little quality for quantity.

Thick Handkerchiefs are not good - Thin ones are!!
I've purchased cheap handkerchiefs before. They tend to be thick and rough... not good. These were very thin and after just a wash or two are already getting noticeably softer. These are great!! Nice product.

Very nice quality, 100% coton 15 inch square, full size Handkerchief, while being functional, may also serve as a pocket accent.
Very nice quality, 100% cotton 15 by 15 inch, bright white Handkerchiefs-Pocket Squares. The ad is misleading, as to laundering. They are machine washable. These are thick enough for common usage, yet thin enough to be used as a "Pocket Square" without creating an unseemly 'bulge'. YouTube has videos & insructions to fold them in many designs, as simple or ornate as desired. If you desire more intricate patterns, then ironing will be required to improve both their appearance & ability to maintain the way they are folded. Their fabrication of cotton rather than silk increases their practicality, however if the primary purpose is for a Pocket Square appearance, silk is a better selection. I suggest leaving them in their delivery packing to minittmize wrinkling before being used. Considering unit price & suitability for home laundering ease they are more economical when comparing to silk, which requires dry cleaning. Selection of cotton or silk is dependent on their primary intended use & overall cost of item & maintinence.

I am not sure which he will like better; the thinner more delicate Van Heusens or ...
I have ordered these before many times each time it seems the quality goes down, and now they say dry clean! Really? They are okay, they shrink rather crookedly. This time I also ordered a set of Umo Lorenzo hankerchiefs. they are a little thicker and even less expensive, after washing once they remain square. They are a gift, I embroider initials on them for my father, I must preshrink. I am not sure which he will like better; the thinner more delicate Van Heusens or the thicker straighter Lorenzos.

Old school swag
You'd think I was a male buying hankies but I'm not. I'm just a young person with old fashioned ways. I believe pulling out a nice fresh soft cotton hankie is FAR more classy than using a wrinkled up tissue from your handbag! It shows people that you are classy and more refined than the rest. I usually carry two, just in case you need to offer a tearful friend one at that right moment. At these prices, they can keep that one and you look oh so refined that they wish that they were as fly and copy your swag. It's a great look for men AND women so go ahead and indulge. I loved it when my elders offered me a hankie....they had savoir-faire. Learn from them and show the others how it's done. If I could find the ones for women, I'd get those instead and monogram them but alas, I've not had any luck so far. That said, I do carry a small individual pack of tissues too to offer to others if I'm down to one hankie. But I give them that WHOLE pack. It's just the old school in me.
