Satellite 500 w/ DPP Twin Pro Plus LNB

We were replacing a damaged Dish 500 and were somewhat concerned when we were told that we would receive a Bell product. However, it works perfectly with our Dish 500 receiver. Also it was shipped to us in a timely manner. We couldn’t be happier.

Nice easy dish to set up, It will do 119W and 110W and if its a QUAD LNB you can do 4 rooms and they will both get 119W and 110W and its very easy. Plus you do not need to have more dishes on your house. :)

Dish was easy to order, and arrived three days earlier than anticipated, even tho' it was shipped USPS.Was a little dissapointed in the excess of price for just dish, when I ordered a dish and ground tripod, three years ago, for much less.Hopefully, this one lasts more than three years.

I orders a DN 1000.2 HD it came so fast, and was in 100 % condition, that now i orderd this one from them a DN500 now i will get more birds, i didnt plan on doing that, but at there prices and there quick response to any questions, i would recomend this comapany to anyone out there looking for a fast relaible FTA used but almost new dishes........ No longer works with dish network upgrade

I replaced the one I mounted 16 yrs. ago because it was weathered looking the dish 500 wore off,but it still worked and I still have the first one. If you want to go HD just change the responders or and a third HD responder to the ones already there.

I like the Dish Networks technology and the potential that it could be. One DVR which covers two rooms is great. The picture is clear when it works. The menus/programming are intuitive. The pricing is reasonable.But, my complaint is RELIABILITY and SUPPORT...for the two years I have had Dish my TV picture seems to go out every 6 months or so. Everytime I talk to Dish customer service I get a different reason why it could be out. Several times I have gotten new DVR boxes mailed to me and there is always a dispute about who should pay. Several times I have had Dish Net come out to my house and they have always tried to make me pay until I told them I'm tired of the hassel and just cancel me. Now my dish is out again this weekend and I am missing the Ohio State / Michigan game because my TV says no Dish Signal (reason tbd).Anyway, if it worked consistently as advertised I would give it 4 or 5 stars. But due to reliability I give it 2 stars. And with Murphy's Law it always goes down when you want to watch that big event (prompting me to write this review instead of watching the game today)!!
