I hope these will last longer than my previous set. They appear to be much more durable and attractive.

After getting this same cord in 3ft I decided I liked it so much I wanted a longer 6ft cord for my vehicle for when we are on family road trips - those in the back can use and keep their precious phones near them while charging.We are always on the hunt for phone charges for all our apple products..not sure what my family does but I sorta think they eat them because they are never around， or on the rare occasion you find one it is broken. I found the braided nylon seem to be able to keep up with my kids and not break. I really like the quality of the in other products and decided to try this lightning braided cord - so， glad I did! I ordered the 3ft for my new car - one that will stay in my car and is not to be removed. It fits perfectly in all my outlet ports and in any of the boxes I have to plug into a traditional wall socket (my car has three of those).

Two reasons to give this a 5 star. #1， if you ve bought charging cords in the past， you know that they will eventually fail. Usually just seconds after the time period when will accept returns. After that period， you have to contact the manufacturer directly. Good luck with that. For about $10， it s not worth the hassle of tracking them down and emailing receipts， etc. My cord failed a couple months in. No problem. Since they re the manufacturer (at least by name)， they took it back in the same way that they take back other returns. Print the label， send， get credit.Reason #2， the little Velcro wrap. It ties around the cord to keep it from unraveling when not in use. It s just the right size， easy to use， and makes my OCD life happy. I would even buy these little strips separately (are you listening ?).

For everyone who wants a durable cable that won t fray and tear at the usual places， this one is for you. Built like a tank!. The cable itself is thicker and stiffer that what you get in most cables， but you d be hard pressed， I think， to tear these up by yanking them around as most people do with their cables. My wife goes through one every 3 weeks， but she has been using the same one now for 6 weeks， and it looks like it did on day 1 - so it looks as though she has finally found one she can t destroy. Regarding cases on our iPhones， the lightning connector fits in with no problem. With other cables I ve had to trim out the connector hole in the case to make the connector head fit， but the head on this one is sleek enough that it fits just fine on both cases on our phones， without interference.

Bought this to replace the (regular) cables that I bought to replace the OEM apple cables. The regular cable lasted a couple years， which I guess isn t bad for the price. I thought maybe this cable would be a little higher quality， and thus last a little longer. I use this cable to charge my phone on my nightstand so it gets used on a daily basis.Some reviews mentioned a problem with the contacts (i.e. device doesn t charge when you plug it in). I actually have noticed that a few times (1% of use so far) but all it takes to resolve it is to remove & reinsert the plug. The major selling point of this cable for me is that it easily fits my iPhone 6 Otterbox Defender case.

There are lots of companies that make cables for our beloved electronics， however， not all of them are safe (MiFi certified)， made of quality materials， or inexpensive. I now prefer the braided cable style because I feel they are more flexible so I was happy to see makes braided cables now too. Unlike all gas station iPhone charges..this product charges. Ive found regardless if a charger is a "lightning，" if its not a specific iPhone charger， your iPhone is able to distinguish iPhone chargers from cheaper chargers..the phone can distinguish the difference. A lightning gas station will charge your phone a dozen times give or take..THEN your iPhone will no longer recognize charger and phone will NO LONGER charge. I had made the mistake of buying 5 or 6 cheap "lightning" chargers. They ALL stopped working after several weeks. A techntold menthe iPhone sends a signal and only an iPhone aka APPLE charger will accept signal.

I love basics chargers. They last way longer than the apple ones and are a third of the price. The braided wire is durable and overall feels stronger than a basic rubber one. My main problem with the original wires was their lightning input. The plastic casing used to be much larger， making it difficult to charge your phone without taking your case off. They fixed that problem - this charger is sleek and not much wider than the actual lightning connector. The 6-foot length is perfect for next to the bed， and the velcro strap makes it easy to wind up and throw in my backpack. Plus， let s be honest: the red is awesome.
