Lourdes: Font of Faith, Hope, and Charity

Thank You. I received the Lordes book quickly & on time. It was exactly what I expected.

I read this enroute to Lourdes with a group from our parish. It really helped to understand the whole story behind the experiences we were to share during our visit. It wasn't as engrossing as Walsh's "Our Lady of Fatima", but was of great benefit to me.

I really did want to love this book - I liked a Medjugorje book written by the same author. However, this is very dry reading, IMO. As important as the content is, I had to push myself to read it and didn't finish the book. Also, having no information on the visions at Lourdes, I had hoped it would have been organized better. The prologue that details the author's trip with her husband confused me about Lourdes. I don't like to be thrown into a story without any information or context. You're better off skipping this section and coming back to it later.

I enjoy reading all I can about Lourdes and Ms. Ficocelli grabbed my interest. I at times did not want to put it down. she has also make me want to work harder on making my dream come true and visit Lourdes.

Great read. The only reason I would want to visit France.

I read this book in anticipation of my recent pilgrimage to Lourdes and Fatima. I was somewhat disappointed. It mostly reads much like a travel guide rather than, as I had expected, a spiritual one.

I thank the author and all who have shared the beautiful description and loving concerns for the purpose of Lourdes.
