Adams Manufacturing 8530-02-3731 Quik-Fold Step Stool, Black

This is one of the cheapest and best short stools available. It looks like it will easily hold 300 pounds for sure and it is very fast to unfold and fold back up for storage. It also has two triangle 'stops' which extend up above and prevent your foot from possibly slipping off and causing a fall. The non skid pads on the top of the step are molded in and are therefore permanent and work very well. Some other brands use 'stick on' pads which are of course not so permanent.The only negative I found was a very large peel off product label/barscan code sticker, that didn't peel off :(.A portable hair dryer will heat up that sticker to make it come off way faster and leave far less residue to wash off using rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. Heat always is the answer for stickers ! So no it was no problem after all...I measure 13-1/4" wide, 12 inches front to back, the top of the flat step is 8-3/4" higher than the floor, the top of the triangle sides are 15" higher than the floor.

I live in a Mobil home, and the tubs are up higher then in regular houses. I am disabled and it was getting impossible for me to get in and out of the tub, so this to me is heaven sent. It's the perfect height to step up on and get into and back out of the tub, and when I finished using it I just sat it back in the tub, it is small enough and big enough for what I needed it for. It does fold and unfold very easy, and is very sturdy. I feel very safe on it because it is so stable. I have thought of a few different places to use it also. But I bought it for the bathroom. I highly recommend this stool. Oh and it has holes for the step to snap it shut, so no problems of it collapsing on itself, and me falling. If I could give it more stars I would.

Perfect little stool for what I was looking for... an under the desk foot stool. Works perfectly for purpose purchased for.NOTE:Did not intend to use as a stepping stool. For that purpose, I believe, it would not be appropriate. It is too light weight and not a steady stand... easily tipped - even at lighter weights. It is very sturdy, however, if you reach and lean, it will tip.IN SUMMARY...I love it! It is light weight and ideal for raising up my legs for better circulation when sitting at desk for long periods. They just don't make a chair 'small & short' for us little ones like they do 'big & tall' for the big guys... I've searched and searched and searched. The only other option is a tailored chair with a 1k+ price tag This is a perfect stool for that purpose... lightweight, easy fold, easy move - at a great price! ($11.95 When Purchased)EDIT 4-14-2017:- 1 Star for 43% price increase.Definitely worth the $11.95 price tag. $20.95?... I would definitely look elsewhere.

We were looking for a small and folding stool for my youngest to reach the water faucet and other unreachable things. It works great, maybe some of the plastic edges could be rounded a bit but otherwise it is very stable and can easily support an adult. It is very light so that my daughter can move it around, fold it, put it away on her own (she loves it).The plastic it is made of seems very nice and strong, not much flexing and the hinges don't worry me one bit when I stand do need to stand on it, although I am 6', seeing at the things at the very top shelf from a few more inches always helps.

good compact stool to lug around the house. folds into a compact sleek space. However, it is not very tall something I realized only after I had it delivered. I know the dimensions are mentioned et al but seeing it physically in front was a bit of a surprise... its sturdy design makes me want to keep it... with a bit of tipping on the toes my wife who is 5'3" is able to reach the topmost shelves in the kitchen

We have tall cabinets, so I had a similar stool for that job. I bought this one to go under my office desk as a foot rest. However, after realizing this stool was infinitely sturdier, this has become my kitchen height assistant. I am not small nor short and weigh...let’s just say “a lot”. My other stool, I would stand on the edges, as a I was afraid it was going to break. Not this one, strong as can be. It folds up nicely and packs away in a cabinet with ease. I dare say this is my favorite kitchen gadget.
