Dungeons & Dragons Spellbook Cards: Xanathar's Guide (D&D Accessory)

Handy Resource and reference but perhaps requires greater QC
These spellbook cards are by no means perfect, but they are a handy quick reference resource to have ready at the table or in your player folder and do not have to pay through hundreds of pages in the actual Xanathar's guide. My main gripe with these was I only found really two Paladin related spells I could use and as noted, you do not find many clerical spells. The cards also had a tendency to stick to each other to the point that I nearly tore them at the edges trying to pry them apart. This is a supplement, so you do not have to use these, but they are extremely useful. For the price, it is not a waste of money and I would add them to the kit bag, because you never know when you got to help out your friendly one eyed Warlock (yes, I one of my teammates is a one eyed warlock). Still I think some due diligence is owed to the card series.

Cards make magic easy for everyone.
The cards make dnd magic so much more accessible to people that don't pour over the books. I will be getting more of these cards. They are that useful.

Not missing spells
A couple things need to be clarified about this deck, it is an expansion upon the preexisting spells lists. That being said for those that have left reviews saying it's missing cards for the new cleric domains, that is because they are already part of existing spells lists from the other classes, forge & grave domains just gain access to them with xanathar's guide. I have a player that is a cleric of the forge domain and I wanted to be sure I wasn't getting jipped so i went through the spell list and found the missing spells. At least to me it just means I get to buy the other decks, which I'm totally ok with. I hope this helps anybody else debating about purchasing ^_^

Like a DLC to the Arcane set
Just like how the book is an expansion to the core rulebook, this adds what is missing to the already beefy Arcane card set. As far as I know there should be no cards in here that can be found in the other sets, so no negatives here.Definitely get the Arcane set before this.

A nice deck to expand with
I love the ease of having all the info I need at my finger tips.I use them for both myself and my party members.Helpful tips: you will want to get all the decks because with just one deck unless you are running a vanilla character you will be missing spells.Don't expect to find anything subclass related.

Very useful
Spell aps are great, but being able to have the cards at the ready is a big help as a DM when the smartphone needs to be used for other stuff.

Spell cards 5E
These cards follow the format of the previous sets but looses points as they do not assign the class as he earlier sets. Still they are a usefull aid for players and DM's alike.

Rubbish dosent have all the cards
Half the cards are missing from the xanathars guild, all class spells will not be included, manufacture says its beacuse they are already printed in another deck, so your paladin now needs a druid and wizard deck to be complete. Stupid don't even want to give them one star
