Too good if you are confident with your lines
You are looking for Design sketching...1) not good for writing so dont even look at it that way.2) staedler color pens are better if you are not confident with your sketch. I loved those pens a few months back while i did not like this one because i needed something lighter as i was not confident with my lines. But after 1 year of constant practice, lines are coming in 2 shots the perfect way that i want so if you are confident to get your line in max two shots this is going to be a blessing. If not then stick to staedler color pens. They have one benefit of lighter color that you can vary shades and try until you get one perfect line. Coz of lighter color of those pens variation from lighter to darker shade is more. But staedler pens are sharper so you need to pull a line at least 5 times to get same shade that you can get with this one in 2 shots (darker edges).3) Schneider pens i have used for long. They have a fine tip. Fine tip is helpful sometimes but not always. Plus they have a problem with bloat. (Basic yellow colored model)4) bic translucent grey ones also i have used and honestly there is too much of difference between these two as well. This has more friction on paper. And slightly lighter ink color than those ones. Which gives more control over your sketch. The weight of this pen body is quite similar to a pencil. So it feels very natural as well.
