Actually I bought it because I thought the short and looking good cable will allow for faster data transfers. It is nice, thick, well made and feels like quality cable. But the speed is no different comparing to the one, long and thin, that came with a camera, it varies between 9.3 to 9.8 Mb/s. I tried with two (64Gb - Ultra and 128Gb - Extreme Plus) SD cards but no difference. So, this is why my lower value for money.

I wanted a longer lead to connect a midi device to my iPad.I previously bought two of these from other manufacturers. The first didn't work at all and the second lost quite a lot of the information being sent. I had to send them back.It seems odd to review something highly just because it works but that's where we are. This lead performs perfectly.

Useful for when my PS3 controller battery inevitably dies and needs recharging. And long enough so i dont have to lean forward while its charging. The only cable for mini-usb devices ive ever needed since

I bought this as a power cable for my dash cam to use in my second car or if I hired a car. It fits the bill perfectly. My only criticism if you could call it that is that the lead is quite thick so trying to fit it into the clips I have is quite tricky.
