Kichler625NI Five Light Linear Bath

Great value for an attractive product. I would imagine will scratch easily as others have mentioned so be careful. Would have been a 4 star review but am deducting one star for poor packaging and instructions. I am a homeowner and not an electrician. When I open the package I see no instructions. I had to assume I needed to pry open the notches holding the mounting plate. After some difficulty using a pliers I remove the mounting plate and discover the instructions inside...why wouldn't the instruction be outside the product? Then the instructions themselves are not clear for the average do it yourself person. How does the front stay secured to the mounting plate? I see no set-screws etc. I go to the Kichler site and no help there specific to my product. After a frustrating bit I finally deduced that the socket cups are removed then replaced holding the front to the mounting plate via friction. So maybe all this was clear to most people, but not me, so am posting this for anyone else's benefit.

Nice solid light fixture with a nice finish. I bought this exact model because I have another that I am very pleased with. This one loses a star because there is a ground wire attachment on the inside of the front face which creates a little hole visible on the outside of the cover. This hole is close to the middle position socket trim piece but is not close enough for the trim to cover. My other same model fixture is not like this. The hole bummed me out at first but I am over it now and am overall pleased with the fixture. It is slimmer and cleaner with a nicer finish than some of the competitors.

All I can say is bless your heart of you couldn't get the wiring out of the inside of the fixture or couldn't figure out how to get it apart for mounting. Just remove (PULL) the decorative light base and it comes right apart. Two screws in the predrilled holes OR make your own holes wherever you want them.MY fixture is sturdy and there's nothing FLIMSY about it. Very happy for the price.

I did not buy this for the looks.. I needed the five light with exactly that size back plate to cover that area on the wall .. I needed to replace the one I had before ..it looks fine .. works fine .... it's okay.

Love this light. We were looking for something simple and minimally designed and love the clean lines on the product. However, these lights get very warm. I always make sure I shut off the lights as soon as the bathroom is finished being used.

Easy to install with just a drill. It came with instructions that essentially covered multiple different models, which wasn't ideal.
