Stylish and Useful!
I purchased this because I hold a lot of family gatherings at my house. I usually put all of the food out on the counter in a buffet style and I never had anywhere to put the silverware so I would end up laying it on the counter which I didn't like. I saw this and decided to try it. It held all of my large forks, small forks, spoons and butter knives. It was so neat, and much cleaner than setting on the counter. It is really nice looking. The compartment clip on and off for easy cleaning, or to use just one by itself. Each of the compartments also have a few small holes in the bottom corners so if you put freshly washed utensils in and they aren't quite dry, the water will drain out and not pool in the bottom. The only thing I would change is for them to add a place to napkins but I just use a seperate napkin holder, no biggie. Over all, I'm very happy with this and would recommend to anyone who ever does a "buffet" style dinner at home, or does not have a silverware drawer.

Perfect alternative to a cutlery drawer
My wife and I moved into a house with a small kitchen with no drawer to put our flatware in. We searched for many different caddys and ultimately settled on this one. This is very sturdy and has a very nice contemporary design. I would buy another in a heartbeat. The only flaw is that the flatware will sometimes fall through the bottom of the holder.

Could improve just one thing and it would be terrific.
Wish they had a solid bottom rim that went up at least 1/4" so tje tines of fork and knife tips don't poke through -- otherwise it is sturdy and stylish. Most people like to put the forks/knives/spoons face down as it seems cleaner when people grab their flatware, wish they had thought of this as part of their design. As other reviewers have already mentioned, they poke through -- I am trying to find something to insert (cut a disposible plastic cup down, but it was hard plastic vs soft so it kept cracking) to prevent this. Our old caddy that was lucite fell apart - so metal seemed the way to go. Still I'd recommend.

Solid Kitchen Accessory
I recently moved into my new condo to find that no cutlery tray anywhere will fit into the drawers. When I found this item, I stopped caring. One review said items slip through the metal bottom, and this has happened to me when loading it; however if you don't overload the sections, I have found that the padded bottom in each section kind of 'holds' the cutlery & prevents this from happening... At least after you've gotten it to sit normally. It's just not as if you grab a fork and everything flies out of the bottom or anything like that. Just to clarify.I find this looks very nice on my counter, and it has a rubberized bottom so it doesn't move around or scratch my counters either. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, think it looks great & I get nothing but compliments on it.

Attractive but has a design flaw
Although it makes looking for items super convenient I absolutely hate it when a listing has multiple choices and the rating doesn't reflect the specific product you purchased. So let me start by saying I purchased "Prodyne M-935 Chromed Metal Flatware Caddy". I like the look and feel of the caddy. It matches my other pieces (paper towel holder, serving utensil holder, napkin holder) and that is the main reason I purchased it. I do agree with another reviewer that the utensils slip between the slots and this is a serious design flaw and that is why decided to rate it 3 stars. If it wasn't for the fact that I purchased this during the holidays and I got really busy I would have returned it. I originally kept the box with the intention of returning but I kept forgetting. So now I'm stuck with it. To be honest one of the main reasons (aside from the design flaw) is that I purchased "InterDesign Rain Flatware Caddy, Clear" which is really the only caddy I will ever need, that caddy is so perfect it puts this one to shame. Lucky for me since this caddy does match other pieces I own, I think I can use this Prodyne Chromed caddy for my serving utensils. I think it would be a nice alternative to the DecoBros Utensil Holder Caddy Rack, Chrome Finish that I already purchased.

Cannot recommend
I usually don't write reviews but when invited to write about this product I thought I would. I am not satisfied and probably should have shopped around more. I don't like how the silverware falls or slides out through the slats at the bottom. It looks nice but isn't practical. Also the rubber attached to the bottom to keep it from slipping or scratching the counter top came off almost immediately and wouldn't fit back on as it seemed stretched out of shape. I've only had it a short time too. Therefore I cannot recommend this product.

Well made, totally useless for utensils
This utensil caddy is extremely well built for what you pay (heavy duty!) and it's held up for almost a year of abuse with toddlers in the house- but you just can't keep forks/knives/spoons in it at all. The four separate compartments are great, but the gaps in the sides definitely aren't. If you use this for holding your flatware, you'll constantly be fighting to keep them from sliding through the sides. Another reviewer said that cupcake liners work well- but they'll tear through after a few days and then you'll be replacing them all the time- which is a royal pain if yours is never empty like mine is.A+ for construction and looksD- for functionality and frustration level

Really Nice!
This is much nicer than I expected. I am very pleased. I moved into a studio, large studio, but the kitchen has very small drawers. Couldn't get a flatware thingy in there to save my life and it gives me the creeps to have my flatware just sitting in a bare drawer unorganized. This slips into a cupboard under the counter/bar and is easy to set on the counter when needed, and there is a place for napkins on it. It's modern looking and not one of those basket types you'd see on picnics. Wasn't going for the Early American barn look.
