PickBayGuitar Pick Holder Necklace ECO-BRASS w 27" Black Leather Cord ECO FRIENDLY, Engravable back

I bought this for my husband. The one we bought came with some Martingale picks which were nice. And also came with both a fake leather cord and a black military type chain. The black chain is the kind that you generally pull on for a ceiling fan but much much thinner. Those are nice as they can be snipped to any size you like. The fake leather cord is okay as any fake leather cord is, but not wonderful.The pick holder charm is very nice and is sturdy and solid. I'd say I have to agree that it only holds two picks. We did have some extremely flimsy picks that came with it and it can hold up to four of them. But if you are at .73 or any thicker you are only going to get two of them in there.Having said that. It is a guitar pick holder necklace but it's more for show. Which is exactly why my husband likes it and wanted one. Show off that cool pick you don't want to actually play with. My husband bought one rare pick for nearly 5 dollars and now has a place to show it off.If you want it to hold several picks that you can actually use for playing, this isn't the product for you. If you want a solid piece of jewelry and want to show off some picks... this is for you.I gave it 4 stars because it claims there's a leather strap when it's fake leather. I know so many companies are trying to pass this off as real these days, and it may be that PickBay doesn't realize they are not buying genuine leather? I don't know. However, it's not a real leather necklace. And the military looking chain is flimsy. So I went out to the local big chain store and bought my husband a nice gold rope chain to use for around another 30 bucks. All in all, looks fab together and that made me super happy. I can see this being something he loves for years to come.

Looks to me like the single reviews for this item were written by the manufacturer so I'll give you my honest review. The PickBay does not securely hold a single pick, holds 2 somewhat securely, and will not hold 3. It was very difficult to remove the sample pick that it came with. The recipient did not believe that it was meant to be a pick holder because it was so difficult to use. It is really nicely made other than that and looks great when the picks are in place.
